I was taught in a non formal manor as to excell learning...
Actually most of the training is done very slowly because it deals with joint extensions that can damage the muscles, damage ligaments and break bones.
When skill is obtained actions are sped up a bit..
My father made a choice not to name the art but refer to it by the association just so that his students early on would not go telling everyone...
I have use the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural & Community Center in the past, however I was still in training with my fathers group...
Now what I am doing is using my version or style of my family art which I was trying to formalize as to continue my studies by being the teacher rather then the student...
I have always like working out doors whenever possible and I always look for friendly types to practice with because I like practicing with weapons and light to mid sparring.
I would love to practice like the ninjas do ... get up in to morning and just practice all day... but I'm not in that position...
I'm not going to post too much, but I am still open to good people.

I did 2-3 years of KungFu training before I moved - you have to pick the right style [internal over external, etc etc] - but I found it most rewarding.Comment
