haven't seen it yet... but it was premiered here last june 28... maybe this weekend i will go and see it... my friends told me it was a really good movie...

Will be premiering here tomorrow. I bought 10 tickets last week, so my friends were covered (they're lousy sometimes).

It sold out a couple of days ago and people are actually offering me serious cash to come along. hahaha now i know It''s gonna be good!

I don't remember Kevin Smith constantly making fun of anything Transformers in Clerks 2...

But then, I haven't seen it since its release...

Very sure. It was a major joke that he kept on coming back to. He looks pretty fucking stupid now.

clerks 2 had a 5mil budget and grossed 25mil. (compared to a 150mil budget for transformers).. to me that makes smith look pretty damn smart. besides i think your exagerating a bit...

Smith: It's all in good fun. I don't even consider them jabs. It's just basically writing characters and giving them a point of view. For years people were telling me since we make all these pop culture references, I've had all these kids younger than me who were like, "Dude, you have to reference the 'Transformers.'" I did not grow up on the "Transformers," that was a cartoon that was after me. I didn't watch adventure cartoons like "Transformers" or "G.I. Joe," that was kids younger than me. I had this one dude on my Web site, this dude Omega, he's posted as Omega for years since 1995, was always going, "You need a Transformers reference in your movie." But I was like, "Dude, I have nothing to say about the Transformers." So, when I was writing this, and I was writing the Elias character I thought this is a mother fucker who would like the Transformers. It's fortuitous in terms of timing because they are now making that fucking "Transformers" movie and that trailer went live last weekend and suddenly, wow, what a timely reference.

Great Fun summer movie! I would watch it again easily.

I saw the movie few days ago. And I would say it was the best!!! When i watching it I remember when I was a little... Whew... Those are the days!

just watched it, man it's awesome.

Judging by the box office rolling in, Kevin Smith is looking like a major dickhead.

I still have all 5 of them and the accessories!

I just got back from seeing Transformers and I thought was a great flick, they definately took their time with the storyline which flowed nicely, it had great effects, and it tossed in a little bit of humor.

I highly recommend it

Will be checking it out saturday with my sons
