Let's start with a mass murderer. An innocent animal is locked in a cage, as well as a mass murderer. You only have time to unlock one cage. Who do you save? Is the innocent animal worth more than the human in this case? (the mass murdered is handcuffed and won't be able to murder you next...)
What about a rapist? Or a pedophile? A thief? Where would you draw the line?

It's not. We evolved and we now eat animals. I honestly cannot see the difference between eating a kitten or eating veal. Eating a beef patty or a dog one.
Well, I don't agree with the death penalty for starters. And most MASS murderers have a deeply rooted mental problem. They are ill. I think it is wrong to punish and kill people that have an illness. I think, as an evolved society, we should HELP those people. Fix their brains and remove their illness. Not kill them.
Again, those people do those things out because something is wrong. Wrong with their heads, or wrong with society. VERY few people I am aware of rape, watch CP or rob people *for a laugh*. They do it because they are compelled to for some horribly dark reason.

Like i say, post about things happening to humans, and i'll speak about that in those threads.
Saying there are other things to worry about, that could be said for EVERY little thing you do during your working day, and saying "oh well, let's not worry about it, there's people getting fucked over in some other country jail or something".

Suggesting there's better things to worry about might be right, but it still doesn't mean you can't comment on something as disgusting as this, when that's the thread subject.

No the posts on GFY are all wasting time, the real time wasting though is when a newspaper runs the story and tens of thousands of dollars are spent on helping a dog. If it was up to me I would have walked up and put a proper bullet in its head, ending its suffering and then donating the $10,000+ that was spent on getting it out and paying all the doctors to remove those things to hungry children. $10,000 can feed a lot of hungry children, why waste it on some dog?Comment

The reason some people care so much about animals(anything other than human) is that they're the most truly innocent creatures on the planet. They're not capable of evil.
