it's much harder than it looks. you have to spend lots of money or lots of time to make money in this business.

BUT there are ways you can fully automate your page once you've spent either A)time or B)money developing or purchasing the scripts you'll need.

either way expect to be paying for your gas the hard way while you get started.

Maybe I should have told you that, then hit you with a huge oversized hosting package ....

Meanwhile, host at Dreamhost, it will minimize your lost....

Welcome to the board and good luck on your start. It can take a while to begin to generate revenue but at least two tricks are worth learning.

Learn how to generate traffic and how to convert it. YOu should be golden after that.

Id reccommend starting the way I did. That way theres little risk of things don't work out, but theres lots of room to grow and devlop if they do.

Go for a really cheap hosting package, on a month by month basis. Don't take out a full years plan yet.

Then find yourself a free, or very cheap, script.

Blog: Wordpress
Link Dump: loads of free (<< How I started)
MGP: Comus Free, Autogallery Free
General: Joomla (very flexible and SE friendly)

Then find 3 or 4 sponsors, and sign up with them all. Your not really going to make many/any sales in your first month or even your second, but you need some free content.

then no matter what site you get, install linkex (www.likex.dk) these hardlinks will help boost PR in future, but for now, will drive a few hundred Free hits to your site.

You need to work on the site daily, but only 5-30 minutes a day depending on your site of choice.

If it's a blog using wordpress, you can write a full weeks of posts in one session, and have them automatically appear one per day.

Most Free MGP will run in automatic mode. For one of these sites, install SlothTrader Traffic trading script.

For linkdumps, no one will dump any links until it looks like you send out over 100 per link. So, every day, you need to submit 5 or more links to GOOD free content. Link dumps need to appear both surfer friendly and webmaster friendly.

Once site traffic has built upto 1000 unique visitors per day (check in AW stats in your cPanel) then you can start selling cheap advertising. You wont get a lot, but this will make your site "self sustainable". You should make at LEAST your money back for the hosting on advertising.

After this comes more sites, more sites, bigger hosting, more sites, sell sites buy a few big sites, bigger hosting, producing content, finding cam girls, more servers, buy out smaller cam sites/studios, buy more servers.... etc etc

I don't know crap about the Adult Industry and I perform almost no SEO, this is for 1 site. I started doing adult right around the time i joined here (late May of this year)

The guy who said generate traffic and convert it has it right

1) I find content that people want and nobody else has. Think about how people look for content, and research for good ways to see what they are looking for. Lots of ways to do this.

2) I promote the content in the highest traffic places I can find. I would suggest use the Alexa Top 50 sites for the USA and try to figure out how to get your links on those sites.

3) As far as I can tell (like i said almost no experience) affiliate stuff needs to be exactly targeted to your content (except for PPC, but that shit pays pretty low for adult, at least for what I found klikvip, exoclick and 3fn). I have content that people come after like crazy but if the aff program its funneling traffic to is not exactly targeted I make nothing. If it just right then I make that earnings line at the top of my post. I make it impossible for them to miss my money links.

thats it, thats all i do - I dont even know what a TGP is, I believe that these smart hardworking dudes who built up their organic SEO and trade hardlinks and all that stuff know what they are talking about, but I had an immediate need for money and no time to go to Porno University. All props to them and the reason Im so vague is I dont want them to eat my lunch :D but it does work and if I can do it, you can too.

A few good tips in this thread.

Honestly, a blog would be your best way to start.

Create a blog on your own hosting and domain, then go find the free blog sources and create a ton of those, and link to your main blog. this will generate quality one way links to your main blog.

Make sure you run each of these "feeder blogs" through some social bookmarking sites, which will help them get indexed and help push some PR to your main blog.

Also, make sure you do not miss ONE day on your blog. keep updating it. install the linkex script like everyone said, and trade links.

It's a tedious process in most cases, but in the long run, a well ran blog will generate more income then any freesite, tgp, ect. (from my experience).

I use Thumblogger for backlinks, create those using Gallery2Blog and submit them to twans directories will give you some decent traffic to begin with.

ANd thumblogger has an easy editor tool + you can pre record blog post far in advance so your blog is always up to date

I would do three sites, one main one and two for funneling traffic. Make sure all have blogs and some sort of active content like a forum or posting page. As you get traffic see the keywords they use and do a program that is like what they are looking for. Also get good hosting like www.dwhs.net good luck!
