Israel is far from perfect, but they are surrounded by insane arabs who would love nothing more than their total destruction. Anyhow if Israel did cease to exist the Arabs are just gonna turn on themselves ... they don't know any other way, people are still gonna die. You are dealing with a less evolved tribal people, and in many parts of the region a people who only have access to 1 single book.
