Plug your nose and ears with your thumbs and index finger. Thumbs 4 your ears ;)
using your two pinky's grab a cup of water and drink
Works like a charm for me

Just drink lots of water very slowly... you can't hiccup while you're drinking...

You're probably going to laugh but give it a try anyway, what have you got to lose?
Close the blinds and lock the door. (you don't want spectators)
While holding a glass of water, bend over until your head is about the level of your knees.
Slowly drink as much of the glass of water as you can in one breath.
Don't straighten up until you're sure it worked
I know it sounds wacky but it has never failed me

a teaspoon of mustard does it for me every single time... just plain old yellow mustard. Something about the harsh taste of it is supposed to take your breath a little and that will kill them.

despite the nonsense talk about trapped nerves and whatever hiccups are in fact an involuntary spasm of the diaphragm. the acidity of the vinegar stops the spasms.
