                                      Most at&t stores around here have plenty, lines were almost non-existent. I could go tomorrow and get two from each store lol?

                                              I went to the Apple store here in San Jose at 11pm and there were only a few people in front of me and there were so many sales people it took less than 5 mins to buy it. I was pretty shocked there was no line since all of the retards here in Silicon Valley were in line for the past day or two.

                                                          wow there were ~100 people at the apple store here. and that was at around noon today. went to a att store and had to wait in line for about an hour or so.

                                                                              heres something i learned after getting my hands on 2 xbox 360s on launch day. the people who are willing to pay $1500 for an item worth $500 are not the same people who are going to wait 3 days for an auction to end. the prices are always outrageous for the first 24 hours (the shortest auction ebay allows), then they drop sharply each day thereafter. we watched all the 1 day xbox 360 auctions bring in $1500 to $2000 easily. ours sold for $900 and we were lucky the dude payed as they were going for about $750 by the 3rd day. i know it's too late to change the length of your auction, but for future reference always go with the 24 hour auction (and overnight shipping) when selling a launch item.

                                                                                          Well it is a bit different. PS3 had 400k units @ US launch. iPhone had 3 million units @ US launch. Every store around me was sold out of PS3's within minutes - and the line to get them was started two to three days in advance in some cases. There were little to no lines around here for the iPhone (certainly none started days in advance) and if I wanted I could get two iPhones (that's the limit) from each AT&T store in my vicinity. People paying 1.6k-2k for a PS3 for their brats for Christmas I could understand since they were literally sold out everywhere.... the iPhone you can find at most AT&T stores still and you can even order directly from Apple's website right now and get it in two or three weeks. There just isn't a "good reason" for people to be paying so much @ eBay but eh, it's their money.
