there are many things happening around us however we can only experience realty through a frame work of 'our' understanding... as our understanding changes the very nature of the universe and reality change as well.

a simple way to relate to modal theory is understanding light, or photons. if an experiment test to see if a photon is a particle, photons are particles. an experiment to test if photons are a wave... photons are a wave.
