ok I turned the Linkback Verification off. My host won't allow outgoing links unless I give them the IP expected to connect to (which I can't know in advance...) ugh. anyway.

IMPORTANT: Although it does not say a linkback is required (below), it IS required. I am having problems with my verification tool, so I will be checking links manually.
