I think he was talking about stolen ADULT content, not music, although that's stolen, too. They allow, or did allow (not sure), their banners to be displayed on torrent sites which distribute the content us affiliates are trying to sell. Thus, since entire siterips are being given away for free, the surfers do not buy anything. Cam/dating sites make a killing while the rest of the adult industry suffers.
You basically back yourself into a wall. You may make a lot of money short-term but in doing so you destroy the very platform that allows you to advertise.
