    Dry lips are driving me insane

    The sides of my lips are pissing the fuck out of me. They are dry as fuck.. and are turning white. It hurts to open my mouth now.

    Chapstick doesnt work, neither does vaseline, water, or (of course) licking. The top and bottom of my lips are fine, its just the ends.

    Any ideas?

      Hydrate often, and continuously. The root of your problem is probably not enough water. Short bursts of drinking might not do it.

      Avoid licking them. That only dries them out.

      Use Carmex. It works better than any of the products you listed, in my experience. Build a contiuous barrier. No reason you shouldn't have moist lips from regular carmex applications alone.

      If problem continues, maybe it's eczema or something. See a doc.

                                              seriously though, you need to use a moisturizer not a balm or wax. If you use the chapstick brand make sure its the blue one that says chapstick MOISTURIZER. If its not a moisturizer it will only dry your lips out. For your condition make sure what u use has Vitamin E in it...
