I find it faster to age domain, then point a bunch on inbound links to the site. 24 hours later its all there.

I don't... I did to jump start my networks many years ago, but got rid of all extras since. That was my point.
I had pretty much two identical sites to test. One had links and other map AND links. One without the map is kicking ass right now, other has shit traffic.
