    Do you think anyone here will care if you die?

    The sudden death of Jayeff, one of the best contributors to this board made me thinking....


    everyone says how great community GFY is, but fact is that unless you're friends with many people in real life, most of us are just screennames that no one really cares about.


    No point really here, but I was still thinking about Jayeff for a while, didn't know him but he seemed like a great guy and now he's gone...

    Actually, since GFY moves so fast, 75% of people reading this thread won't even know that He passed away.

      A few people will... one person here was in my wedding party. So yeah, a few might "care".

      But my death certainly won't change anything or even matter much. But that's who death should be, at least mine. I don't want it to be some big deal.

                          There's quite a number of people I think would miss me, but not because of the board but because we've spent lots of time together in the real world...

                                      that made me think polish..yeah that's the question to be ask...well for me, no one will care, unless someone will post here..many would bump and say "condolence, i'll miss her" or something....for the fact that they will just do that for their signature....so sad..

                                                                  Just searched and read the thread. I didnt know he had died because the thread title didnt say it and I never looked.

                                                                  There were so many kind words in that thread. Made me think how it's a shame sometimes that we feel someone is important, intelligent, helpful.. and mention it after they're gone. Hopefully he knew that long before

                                                                  But yes, I think people care when someone they have known online dies.
