    Resistance to gays in the military: A Theory

    Do you think it's really the homophobia or is
    that a smokescreen for the real issue?

    Gays, just by virtue of being gay, have already
    proven that they are the type of people who
    can go against what everyone else is doing
    because it isn't right for them.

    Those are the exact type of people the military doesn't want.

    Anyone else think this has any validity?

      Sadly, the other side can also use this as a corillary: "Just because you suck a mean dick doesn't mean you can carry a gun." I don't think it matters, sexually, it all depends on the person, themselves, not who they sleep with.

          Its homophobia, there is and always has been gay's in the military since well there were a military to begin with.
          Hell even some of our "epic" heroes were at least bi sexual.
