    Think there will be a presidential election in 08?

    With the war still raging in Iraq and the possibility of invading Iran, I am putting money that bush will use this power to stay in office indefinitely.

    It's either we will go to war with Iran, or there will be another terror attack, but I bet there will be something and this idiot will engage this.

                          Shortly after 12:00 pm eastern time, on January 20, 2009, George W. Bush will no longer be president.

                          I can't fathom what you suggest, and that is, our constitution being deemed irrelevant based on George's whim.

                              I'm not republican, but I'd vote for him just because I love L&O and I'm sure there are some other dimwits out there just like me.

I see you are a Bush hater and I give you props for that . . . but the fact is, all presidents have egos the size of which we mortals can hardly fathom. Having said that, the constitution is strong than any president's ego. So I guess that's my answer to your question.

If the election has already happened! there may only be a delay in the progression! of maybe a few months at best! He is not going to be able to keep that up for any effective time period.                                                                                                                                       Americans for the most part are ignorant sheep that care more about their little conveniences than they do their freedoms and/or rights. Christ, look at all we lost with the patriot act.... basically, all they have to do is claim terrorist and you can be held indefinitely. Your privacy has been invaded... they are reading emails, blogs, boards and listening in on phone conversations.
