    best adult friendly bank?

I'm looking to move my accounts from BOA, as they are a horrible bank, but I want to make a smart move with my $$$. What adult friendly banks do you use/recommend?

Pick a small local one where you will know the people there. They usually are more hard up for your business. Then keep an online one at like ING or something.

I hear horror stories about smaller banks not accepting, or accepting and then suddenly dropping, adult businesses.
I know this is going to make me sound like an idiot but; what's ING?

I don't think you will find many banks that roll out the red carpet for adult businesses. Like anything else, money talks and the more you have the more they'll love you.

I've used BOA for several years and though they make me mad from time to time, if you keep a low profile, you'll be fine with them.

My greatest call to BOA was when I bought some hardcore domains one morning from Yahoo and then had a problem with my BOA bank account a few hours later. I called the bank and while talking to customer service I noticed the names of the domains I bought were clearly stated on my banking page! I asked the customer service person if she could see the names of the domains I bought and she just laughed, meanwhile thinking in panic my bank account was history!

ING has been at the online side a lot longer, even withstanding the dot com crash. They also now offer additional services like business accounts at five percent, IRA's, Checking (they eat the postage and mail the check for you), and many other perks.

Others are just trying to play catch up and have way more overhead than ING has in North America.

I have them shut my card off on a somewhat regular basis. If I buy traffic, register a domain and pay for something on paypal all in the same day, I might as well count on them shutting it off.
I also went in and bought a bunch of outfits for a shoot, and the card was turned off in less than 5 minutes. I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I was shopppig at the stripper store.

i dont let the bank know what i do, my credit union the tellers always ask me TONS of questions because i deposit like 20 checks at a time. i also go to charter one, they dont ask a damn thing, i think they must be trained to mind their own business.

Yes, money does talk. Like when their atm machine destroyed my card when I was leaving to go out of town, and the people inside told me that I couldnt' get an emergency card (despite their call center telling me I could). I told them to give me a cashiers check for my balance, and that i would just go to wells fargo and open an account. They looked up my balance, and I had a new card in under 5 minutes, despite being told that was "impossible" five minutes prior.

i use HSBC and Commerce. Both are excellent. Commerce always has free lollipops inside as well as a free coin counting machine....

Never had a problem with either.

Is your company name causing the problem? If you have a real mainstream corporate name then no one can know what your doing really.

I have a business credit card with advanta. Often when I buy traffic it flags in their scam program and I get an automated call to my cell phone - press 1 if this was a valid charge 2 if it was not. I press 1 and that's the end of it.
                                          Seems like a nice system.

By the way I use a small local bank that well happens to be on Nasdaq, but I regress. They treat me great and have no issues with the adult side of things as long as it remains legal. They however did suspend epassporte due to "request from banking authority" from some agency due to gambling regulations.

However a few years ago I learned my lesson and was also shit canned by Bofa and getting checks from ARS.
