Well, I replaced a couple avnads adzones with contexaclick the other day, and after 15,000 impressions I have received one click worth 1 cent. about 200 times less than the same adzones on average would have made me with avnads popping up warnings from my site in people's scumware detectors. However I'm still not imprssed with avnads. I think I'm going to drop PPC adzones as an income stream on my top level blogs altogether, and just continue to let avnads run on my shitty feeder splogs...Last edited by Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life; 06-25-2007, 09:28 AM. -
I am not pushing either of these guys anymore. Contexaclick offers a rev share of 40% and that plain sucks. I sent traffic for 3 days and wasn't very impressed. I dropped avn because they were putting ads on my site that downloaded zango. I have used adengage in the past and I guess I will give them a try again. Etology I tried once and was not thrilled but I may try them again too. I am only running ads for my sponsors right now and I miss the extra rev. so if anyone has another alternative I would be interestedAlanAgus1 at gmail dot com-------------------------------Comment

agreed, my avnads revenue isn't bad, i just can't deal with the shit that they're running in my zones. if i could find a legitimate alternative, i'd be all over it. but with the options presented right now, i'm thinking it's not worth it to me to go with any of them...Comment

ismokeblunts, did you net get my email I sent you after you put our ad blocks up?
You really needed to change the colors you chose for the ad block. I am surprised anyone clicked on the ads at all. With that dark blue text color you selected, no one could read the ad titles or the urls. Also you chose the wrong type of ad block too. You should have went with the skyscraper or even the wide sky scraper types, either would be better than the one you selected.

Seems to me they've got very minimal traffic. I set up a few campaigns and have received a whopping 11 clicks from about 1900 impressions in the past couple of weeks. To be honest I'm a bit annoyed they list specific niches when they clearly have no traffic in them.
