    video help (converting to flv)

    I am using sony vegas and it don't seem to have to option to convert to flv.. is it possible or not?

    i downloaded a program called pazera video to flash which seems to work well cept some of my videos the sound is all fucked up grrr

    frustration.. any help is appreciated.

          my version of vegas wont do flv's either. i don't think any of them do

          i would just make full resolution hi quality avis

          then batch them all at once into flvs

          this way you can always rebatch them if you want to change the quality or resolution of your flvs

          there are quite a few encoders out there you can google, like videocharge, etc etc

              Most editing softwares don't do FLV, only one I have ever seen do it is Adobe. I just make them in an h264 format and convert that to FLV in my convertor. Just search for FLV convertor on google you will get a nice list of them. Figure out what your needs are and look for one that fits your needs. I would stay away from any free ones.

                          I beyond agree with you, but FLV in tours is required for traffic to click on. Embeded FLV is the standard that has been enunciated by the social networks and tube sites so it is what people want before they are willing to go further.

                              I will check this out, but I have had bad luck with free convertors, I have also had crap luck with paid for convertors. FLV can be a good video format but has to be converted properly and most don't stand up to the quality. If this gives quality conversion I will defiantly use it.

                                      Agreed, however - mp4 should embed the same as flv (same player(s)).

                                      I use mp4 on some sites for streaming and find it far easier to create and a better video quality too.
