I dont understand how is having a video sharing site profitable? So much bandwidth used... I mean unless you got a really nice deal, but man. With that many unique visitors per day, you cant have ANY ROI off the miserable ads on that site.

I remember an article in one of the major business magazines a while back say they were paying around $1 million a month with Level 3 I believe. Its hard to even guess now what they may be pushing. I can tell you on average per minute they use. When I brought up VideoSlacker.com, I talked to the sales guys at Server Beach. One of the selling points was that they host YouTube. Then, the salesman told me how much they use per minute in transfer. I wanted to faint! When I signed up, I told him to make fucking sure that I was no where near their subnet. Whatever the case, YouTube makes enough to justify the cost. Easily. There's a lot of money earmarked in mainstream ad buys for sites like this.
On the other hand, something tells me that PornoTube would have a much harder time covering the cost. They will eventually get enough hits to have to justify at least a $400k bandwidth bill... do you think they will make enough to cover that?I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
