Video trailers done cheap this evening only!

Ok I need to get mula in my epass to pay a designer tonight or tomorrow. I screwed up and forgot about changing over my info when we switched banks a few weeks ago. Designer needs his mula for a bill for tomorrow, and I cant load epass.... So!! Im putting aside this evening and a bit of tomorrow. If you want cheap trailers done now is the time.

What do you have to have?

You must have the unwatermarked video you want made into a trailer. You must have a .psd of the logo you want used (prefer 300dpi).

    Prices?
For upto 2 minute trailer with initial setup for intro and outro included 65.00

Want multi bile trailers done? Well after you do the first one each additional is 35.00.

I have a shit load of work to do for myself, so its a pain to set aside this time, but trying to help the guy out. Icq and email are in sig, Ill be in and out for a bit today, so if I dont respond on icq then email me and Ill get right back to you.

I can work with HD vid, or whatever. If you want something done from original tapes we can talk, but not looking to do any of that till maybe next weekend.

Hit me up to see samples etc.

You are helping him out?... HAHA.. looks like you just need to pay a bill..

Epass wont load?.. You need money to do that.

How is someone suppose to get their raw to you? Transferring that takes forever.

I do it all the time that way. If they have 600mb movie up on their ftp takes me less than 10mins to dl it. I dont need to pay a bill if I did Id just use my credit card silly lol. I dont use paypal, and neither does designer. He only has epass card. Only way for me to get it to him tomorrow is by epass. Either way. It wont load cause I changed banks. Old bank account is closed out and moved to new one.

So the video you work with is already encoded? Well that explains it. I figured you get the best quality from Tape or at least full resolution AVI. But who am I, I don't know.

                  Sebs

                  P.S. Good luck

assuming a scene is about 30 minutes, a 600 mb file would be roughly a wmv encoded at 2500 kbps which is near lossless quality.

It could also be a DIVX.

However, I've rarely met a client who had that format ready and on hand to be edited immediately

i would always edit all trailers just in original resolution - otherwise i'm fucked when i need them later for DVD for example

Last 3 Ive done were like that for example23 minute clip at 4228kbps 1280x720 and is 720mb. Then you consider that trailers are rarely in full size. So most would want a 480p version. Thats more than good enough quality to work with.

This is for people that maybe dont have the orig tapes etc. I even said if someone wants full capture for me to work with to hit me up, and we can work out something for a later date. I dont really do trailers for other people much now cause working on own things atm.

Agree. If you have any kind of serious gear, you would only work with original resolution since every serious videoediting software are metadata based. Not saying this to bash you stickyfingerz.

I can work with whatever they want to hi8 MiniDV HDV. Thats normally what I request, or a full mpeg2 capture burnt to mutible dvds using winrar. Its not always just programs that want trailers done.

you guys and all your technical jabs... Not everyone is looking to ship a case of DV tapes to someone so they can make a 60 second trailer...

Personally my paysite is bought content in wmv format, and I would love it if someone could download my 2500kbps video files and make trailers out of them for $65

Funny how threads like these bring out all the other video editing guys with chips on their shoulders.
