"Tank Abbott" has buy rate appeal. They can say "former UFC" this and that and get more buyers. People know the name Tank Abbott, but it's not because of his fighting skills, it's because he was a loud mouth white trash toothless bastard.
Kimbo is a bad ass, I won't argue that, but he needs to fight some real fighters to be taken seriously, sooner or later people will start calling bullshit if he fights no names and washed up fools.
Kimbo needs a challenge, people who are buying want to see someone rock him and he fight back.

People want to see Kimbo fight for real now. He's been all over the net the past few years fighting dozens of people and laying them out.
He needs a real challenge and to have a real fight.
Brock is a former WWE wrestler who left to become a football player and failed and is now going for this. A bit of a difference, Kimbo is known as a fighter and knock out guy.
People want to see him fight someone good, not a Tank Abbott.
If someone like Tank get's in a lucky shot which is possible and lays Kimbo out good bye buy rate.

Brock was also a 2 time NCAA wrestling champ. Kimbo has never really knocked out any of the guys he fought online, with the exception of the one white stiff whose name I can't recall. All of Kimbo's fights ended after a combination of accumulated punches and fatigue. If Tank even got one clean shot on any of those stiffs they still wouldn't be awake.
If you put Kimbo in there now with an accomplished fighter you might get a good buy rate, but Kimbo will most likely get exposed quickly as he has only been training a short time. That would be unfair to him, as he is taking this seriously and needs more time.
Kimbo seems to have some potential, and Bas raved about him. Give him time to learn and build himself up slowly and you may actually have something besides a one hit wonder.Comment

I give him credit for working hard and showing his dedication, but there are thousands of other fights who work just as hard if not a lot harder that deserve it as well.

Round 1 Kimbo charges in, goes right for a takedown. Mercer grabs the cage but he goes down. Mercer up, they fight in the clinch. Big knees by Kimbo land. Mercer strikes but Kimbo answers with a combo and gets a double leg. Kimbo fighting, gets Mercer in to a choke. Mercer taps. Kimbo Slice wins by guillotine choke submission in round 1.

Brock also has a very big attitude problem and a big fucking head on his shoulders. He seriously hurt someone i knew a few years back for making a comment about one of his matches. He also broke Chris Benoit neck on a airplane after they got in a arguemet. Thats one of the reasons the WWE bought out his contract and sent him on his way.

He never broke Chris Benoit's neck...where did you get that? The WWE badly wanted Brock to stay but he wanted to leave and pursue the NFL. The WWE didn't buy out Brock's contract...Brock left in the middle of it. That is what caused him problems later on when he didn't make the Vikings and wanted to wrestle in Japan.Comment

The flight you are talking about was the European tour a few years ago, and the incident was between Curt Hennig, who was pissed drunk, and Brock Lesnar. Hennig was screwing around trying to amateur wrestle Brock, and they both fell and crashed into the exit door when the plane was in flight. Curt Hennig got fired over the incident. Billy Kidman was injured during that tour and wasn't even on the flight...Comment
