yeah better to get a cheaper one and find out what you want improved for the next one then jumping into a model like that. plus the main problem with my 'expensive bike' is that i can't lock it up anywhere, i don't even like going into convenient stores without leaving it within 5 steps of the door... hell.. I even worry about locking mine up and it's only a $500 bike. With front and back disk brakes it's like a junky magnet. lol So a $2k+ bike I would not feel safe leaving anywhere. Locked or not.
