I was standing next to it a few days before it opened. The ride opened a week ago. I would have gone on it, I would have let my kid go on it if it had been open that day. At the risk of sounding logical, I would need to know how the kid was behaving on the ride?
Did he go down in a 'sensible' manner with all equipment locked etc, or did he go down trying to act the twat and undid his safety harness?
That would be the deciding factor in my mind.
Years ago, a local fair used to come to my town once a year. One year a guy was 'Thrown Out' of one of the rides - Cue the fair not coming the following year.
Turned out though, from eye witness accounts (and medical records) that the guy was a 'bit mental' and had undid the safety bar himself, and stood up. So no wonder he was thrown from the ride...Comment
