      i went to the grocery store and walked out with a case of beer without paying for it..

      when questioned, i told the store owner i felt it was my right to his product without paying..

      luckily for me the cost for him to hire security outweighed the amount he lost each month due to theft..

        did you even read the article it talking about the superceding of normal rights like privacy and presumption of innocents for stricter copyright laws.

        it equates that attempt to bind the new enviroment via these stricter laws to the maintance of the outdated and ineffective keyboard standard (a standard which was created to stop typewriter keys from jamming because people natually typed to fast).

        the current laws are they are written are strong enough to protect every single copyright holder if you respect the fair use rights of public.
