    There are some .xxx domains active RIGHT NOW

    Did some mild fishing and found that that .xxx DNS is actually working, and some domains resolve...

    http://porn.xxx/ >>>> 99.192.180.202
    http://sex.xxx/ >>>> 99.192.180.225

    They only point to the registry at the moment, but they're globally visible at least. (Try the links.)

    The strange thing is that other obvious domains like fuck.xxx and pussy.xxx are nonexistent.

    See if you can find any more.

                      Ok, so what other xxx doms are registered then? I tried a fair few adult "dictionary" words and those were the only two that resolved.
