... it's not obvious from the email whether we need to change our errotica-archives links to met-art ones (as is usually the case when one ccbill program acquires a site or program from another). I emailed them 5 days ago but they haven't responded. Anyone know?
errotica-archives partners with metart, BUT.... (biz thread)

To clarify, the question I'm asking is whether the join page of errotica-archives will be changed to have the CA of met-art, rather than the existing CA of errotica-archives. Changing CA means the need to change affiliate ID since the errotica-archives affiliate ID won't be credited on a met-art CA signup. -
Ok, I think I've answered my own question...
Link off errotica-archives FHG:
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?CA=901313-0000&PA=xxxxxx&HTML=http://www.errotica-archives.com/index.php
Link off met-art FHG:
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clicks.cgi?ca=901313&pa=xxxxxx&HTML=http://tour6.met-art.com/
Looks like it has been changed, so all affiliate links will need to be changed as well.
Neither metart or errotica archives have replied to my query yetComment

Yeah, errotica-archives is coming under met-art's wing, not the other around.
I found a few older errotica-archives galleries and it looks like the old CA is 927337
So it HAS changed and therefore AFAIK all links using errotica-archives affiliate IDs will be invalid, and sales will not be credited.
Perhaps someone from ccbill can clarify this.Last edited by rowan; 06-21-2007, 08:50 PM.Comment

I've emailed webmaster /a^&@#t\ errotica-archives, erro &^# errotica-archives and support1 /437A\ met-art. 3 times.
I wouldn't normally be sending them multiple emails in a relatively short time but it is important as if things are working like I think they are then affiliates will be missing out on credited salesComment

Sad part is - that Errotica Archives continues sending their newsletter with new galleries and would not notify any of their affiliates about the change. If you happen to be promoting EA and are not an affiliate of Met-Art at the same time, you would have no idea there was a merge, you will be sending traffic which could be converting, but you will not be credited for it. There was no 100% clarification from either party as to which is a guaranteed right code to use. I'm also of the impression that your old EA code goes to dump and Met-Art one takes over. But how about some decency from the companies to clarify this so there are no doubts whatsoever.Last edited by pornask; 06-23-2007, 12:43 PM.Comment

I can't be 100% sure but in the past a site switching program accounts (CA) needs everyone to sign up again, since affiliate IDs (PA) are linked to the CA.
In other words...
If you use an errotica-archives PA on a FHG which sends to refer.ccbill.com using a met-art CA then you won't be credited for the sale.
As I said, I would be happy for someone from ccbill to clarify this.Comment

You'll get payed from both new and old galleries ;)The erotica saga continues : Coolio's Babelog

I don't think that's a metart acquisition as it has an affiliate ID attached, and I'm sure they would have emailed affiliates. I haven't heard a peep out of F-N, only found out by chance that it was redirecting.

Yeah, but the difference is that any traffic you send to First Nudes is redirected to Met Art with the affiliate number of the First Nude webmaster - You won't get credit.
I asked Met Art about this... and they said "So what?"
I also asked them about the Errotica question... and got no answer over a month ago.
I am seriously thinking of dropping Errotica as a resultComment

I just noticed that I am no longer accruing hits/sales for EA and no one has replied to any of my emails. I'm dropping both EA and Met-Art, since they don't seem to care about me.
Oh well.I like beer!Comment

I just checked my errotica archives ccbill a/c and it's at 0:17304 for the past 12 months. I've sent a modest amount of traffic, but that should have still generated at least one or two sales... at the very minimum.
Clicking through from a current FHG (emailed only a few days ago) it's obvious why... the ccbill_referer value is blank. I wonder how many sales they've quietly eaten up.Comment
