Totally misinformed while I was in the hospital (awaiting my HEART transplant last year) David Geffen's older brother was at UCLA awaiting a heart transplant. David Geffen has donated way over 10 Million dollars to UCLA, UCLA Heart Center no less. His brother died in the room across from mine while waiting for a heart donor.... yes it is a crazy subject but I am living proof donating organs is a thing we should ALL do...

Yes I am an organ donor when I die. I am also going to have a test done to see if I match anyone while alive. That way I can donate bone marrow or a kidney if I match anyone. So many people die while waiting for a donor, it is so sad. If I can help someone that would be great.Comment

I've heard stories about doctors who sometimes jump the gun and decide a person in an accident is beyond saving so they can harvest the organs.
