When affiliates were making large bank and could act like they had a large stick up their ass while programs sucked their cocks to get them promoting, affiliates would talk about pulling links all day the minute a program did anything that rubbed them the wrong way.

Fast forward 5 years later where everyone is in the dumps, no business gets done and no real business threads are made, Agent 488 revives "links pulled" by posting it in any thread that Paul Markham creates about his 1980s content, alzheimers and his quasi knowledgebase of stupidity in general mixed with uninformed newbies, and the links pulled hysteria commences.
