    I done fucked up and forgot my wordpress password!

    Ok, so i left a blog behind for a while, and i lost my password, where are the passwords stored? in file, or the database? and can i reset them from my server without having to reinstall?

      there should be an option to have them mail it to you . . . right?

          Just click the forgot password option in the admin login area and it will reset the password and send you an new one to the email you have set on your blog.

              If you forgot to add an e-mail address you should try adding one on the "wp_users" table from the Wordpress DB.
