Well Im not getting back into this one .xxx is dead and the real shame was I canceled my subscriptions to both Xbiz mags and they were great but I felt if I continued to get them I was approving and I dont. The longer Im in this industry the more of a unpleasant taste it gives me and the funny thing is its not the porn.
Thanks Brujah thats not the first time I have heard that bt I cant turn up the source....if you have any luck with that DO let me know.
I was there when it happened and recruited by a person who worked for ICM to bring FSC members there as well as prospective members ( who ICM would pay $25) for their membership- and the price was $8 a domain to be kicked back to the FSC-
That is all water under the bridge now though-
I just hate to see character assinations on this board-
It's not right- and people should debate with facts and not opinions.
I understand you won the trip and so on and Alec is a bro and thus the posts
You don't know me very well I guess. I confronted Alec directly at the time, and was able to get him to state publicly that he was not in favor of .xxx
If I discovered that he was indeed lying to me I would not hesitate to not only resign from moderating his board, but I would blow off the rooms. I do have a condo down the street I could use.
With all due respect, Juicy has not provided anything that shows Alec was supporting .XXX
His right hand man or his "Tony Snow" was certainly supporting it tho...
Here's a gem from Stephen Yagielowicz regarding .xxx...
"Thinking carefully about the pros and cons of the issue takes time and understanding, while the impact that your business plan has on the equation is simple: If you're one of the 'quick buck' schemers trying to make a million or two regardless of the way you do it, then you're likely opposed to anything that could complicate matters, or limit immediate revenues. If on the other hand, you're one of the responsible business people in this industry for the long run, you should be in favor of any measure which would help secure our long term future."
