have the Galaxy S/Vibrant - too plasticky, when I grab it the back cover makes clicking noises, hopefully they've addressed this with the S II. The only other downside is the stupid skin Samsung puts on this thing.
Other than that the camera alone is superb, and I love having a large screen phone. Personally, I'm not thrilled with Android but it is a decent OS lots of apps, many that are free on Android but paid on iOSLast edited by jigg; 04-17-2011, 02:45 PM.......

I loved my Galaxy S for a long time but then it started crashing all the time, email program crashing, screen freezing. Then I couldnt download from the Android Store. I said fuckit and went back to Blackberry Bold.
Android still has lots of bugs.Comment

ok first issue...
y phone takes pretty good video. 720p it says. so i take some video, then i mount then phone to my pc to retrieve the video...
on the phone its an mp4 file and when i mount and browse to the file its a wav only leaving me with audio...

If you have an Android phone and aren't checking out XDA-Developers you are doing yourself a disservice.
My Galaxy S has benchmark scores close to the Galaxy S II figures posted above.
There's a HUGE community of people who are ironing out bugs, enabling features and just all out making your phone a better phone...for free.

You are always able to flash back to stock version. I have never had any issues and have had phones replaced within warranty without hassle. Even with the custom ROM on it, I didn't bother flashing back to stock.
I also have the extra insurance just in case, which is pretty much no questions asked.Comment
