My daughter has been dating this guy whose parents own a very popular chain of Mexican restaurants in the Los Angeles area. She knows I have a thing for tamales, especially around Christmas . . . actually seek out a Mexican g/f that time of year, as long as she has a mother or grandmother that keeps with the tradition of Christmas tamales.

Well, he told his mom, and mom was delighted and readily obliged with some samples.

I just got back from my daughter's where she had dropped off a tray of about 30 tamales of different types.

I tried two, and man, they are great. I am going to have a contract written up so that even if they break up, I still get tamale rights.

I took out my seal a meal and made packages of 4 before putting them in the freezer . . . . otherwise they may not have made it through the night.
