    Americans build a nuclear bunker, use it as time capsule..

    and fail

    They built a nuclear bunker in Tulsa, OK to withstand possible attacks from Russia. They made part of it a time capsule - they put a car, various trinkets and leather goods, etc.

    But they didn't make it waterproof. The car rusted out, the leather rotted, everything is destroyed - even the microfilm which records who was supposed to win the car, in 2007!

                  it was a nice thought. my town did that my kindergarten year (75-76).. except is was for 100 years.. so I'll never see it unless I live to be 106

                      I think I did one of those in grade school aswell.. I wonder If I'll ever get a call to dig it up. That would be fun, to reunite with all those people from grade school and see how everyone turned out.

                          They did the same in one of my grades. Supposedly burying it in the town's main park downtown. I think it was a 25-50 year one though. Interesting enough, but I am sure no one will remember about that shit for reunions.
