seeders it pcs what send/receive bits of files as p2p - but list of ip updated from server.
for example - you downloading/uploading file or just have client software on - if someone who use same control server have/request this file - parts will be uploaded/downloaded from/to your pc.
a seeder is a bittorrent word, and it means someone that is uploading a file and has a complete copy of the file. a leecher on the other hand is downloading the file. when a leecher gets all the file they will automatically become a seeder until they stop uploading
seeders are people with the full version of a video on their pc, therefore they provide the basis for where the "tree" starts. As more people download the same file they to in fact become seeds themselves.
The leecher is in fact the one who has some of the file but is in the process of downloading it. Therfore you can only get part of the file from them.
I havent used torrents since i came to romania. They have like 5 megabyte per second downloads on oDC. Crazy shit is my ISP provides a divx download server with like 500 movies. My hard drive is officially full.
Also the more seeders, the quicker and more stable the file can be downloaded.
When you are downloading a file with 560 seeders the file information is being taken from many of the seeders PCs during the download process, not just one.
