    Ok Seriously Who The Fuck Still Uses Myspace?

    I just remembered I had an account and i just logged in and deleted it. To be honest i thought i had deleted it a long time ago? Hopefully this time it takes LOL!

    Do any of you guys use myspace anymore? I use facebook and twitter primarily and have a linkedin account (for what reason i have no idea LOL!)

              Someone please make note of this thread for future reference so it can be bumped to the top in a few years from now when Facebook falls into obscurity. Many say that won't happen, but then I remember hearing that about MySpace, and yet look at where it is now.

                  Then again look at Google, they keep re-inventing themselves and getting into other businesses.

                                  Most of the messages I see when I occasionally log into MySpace are people asking others to check out their Facebook and that they never use MySpace anymore. I wonder why it has fallen so far out of popularity? I also have a Facebook account under my real name to connect with my family. My sixty-six year old Mom is a facebook junkie and a lot of family people and older people use Facebook for that reason. I am not so sure if a lot of porn people use Facebook. I think Twitter is more popular than Facebook for porn people.

                                                  Shit I had a few accounts on Myspace pushing dating back when it was big, but I haven't logged in years. I think mostly bands use it. Everytime I goto a show they always push their myspace page.

                                                      Use it for viral marketing. It still makes great sales for us. Facebook is useless for us because everytime Claudia-Marie sets up a profile...one of our competitors gets it taken down by complaining almost immediately. And that's with no crazy naked pics at all.

                                                      Twitter works great too for viral marketing for us. But back to the original question: Yes, MySpace still has millions of people on it and continues to make us money.

                                                                  IMO ,No one uses myspace anymore because its disgusting to look at and full of spam. Facebook has a better GUI for sending messages and interacting and even tho its becoming cluttered with more spam it's somewhat controllable. I dont think facebook will ever take the dive myspace has tho. I find myself not even telling people to call or email me anymore but to send me info and messages on facebook.

There aren't many sites in the world (28 of them to be exact) that are bigger. And there isn't a better way, other than twitter, to make sales with viral marketing. That is why MySpace is full of pornstars. It's very lucrative. You guys need to start thinking differently.

It is still a great place for musicians, and producers and whatnot. Most of my time spent on Myspace is just that, jumping around checking out music.

Twitter I use for the accts where I have over 20k followers as when I post I make $$ but I could do without twitter too. Sort of waiting on the next big thing.
