I have yet to find a dating sponsor who does not undermine my net monetization (on paysites).
Once you give your surfer to a dating site, they will take over spamming them with all the same paysites you promote WITHOUT your aff codes - that's the way they are structured.
I expected that from most dating sites, but I (naively) assumed that because ND has had a long standing practice of paying affiliates on all console signups, that when they introduced Fling it would be a bonus to ND affiliates.
WRONG.
Your Fling free members (as in you got paid nothing), are spammed with ND sites in the free areas which do not have your affiliate codes.
Can anyone tell me what the point is in promoting Fling AND ND paysites??Comment

You can see that even in a bad month for us, where our conversion slid to 1:70 (paid:uniques) for him versus 1:40 for Fling, we end up paying more.
FLING
1:40 at $35 = $0.88 per unique
1:40 at $40 = $1.00 per unique
IWANTU
1:70 at $100 = $1.43 per unique
Basically, Fling would have to convert from unique to paid 250-300% better than we do to outpay us - which I doubt they can do. So go where the money is, that's the bottom line

That is an excellent point. Although on the few small blogs I do promote Fling they are softcore so I don't promote ND. I've never really gotten the hang of promoting dating sites myself anyway. I've just used it as an alternative filler.
A couple other choices (other than Fling) would be:

The best advice is try all sites for yourself (except ones you won't ever use cuz they do shady stuff), with your traffic and then stick with the top 2-3 who make you the most cash. If it didn't convert for your friend it doesn't mean it won't convert for you
