Ok I need to address something now before it also goes bad. Since this all ends tomorrow at midnight PST, and with no new bids since the drama. I feel I need to address what I should do in the event there is no last moment bidding and or I do not reach the cost of the chair.
What I will end up doing in the event that the bids do not reach the minimum required is posting a poll allowing those that donated their sigs to decide what happens with the money.
1. Just split it up among the sig donors (myself excluded) based on any particular sig donors sig value (decided by myself).
2. Place such funds in an interest bearing account and when I can afford the chair purchase it.
3. Use the funds to purchase other non covered medical devices that would make Julia's life much easier (lifts, etc).
4. Use the funds to pay down the medical bills.

i think option #1 is a bad idea.
id rather just walk away with no deal anywhere than see money get split and spread...just doesnt make sense.
option #2 isnt bad, same with 3 and 4.
i think that the money is yours to do with as you see fit.
the people donating their sigs have done so out of respect or love or both.
the sponsor that wins it is paying for the space, and the end result is an improvement in your quality of life.
i dont have a problem with that.
