OK.. So... The SOPRANOS... 1 Day Later...

I'm actually glad it's over. The writing on the show is like getting a blow-job from an inexperienced girl.

Sure every once is awhile she'll actually put the dick in her mouth and suck on it - but most of the time she only licks the shaft a bit and the trouble with that is, it's better than no blow-job at all and you always think in the back of your mind she'll get better at it and take your load..

Last night's episode was crappy. Focused on giving everyone "face-time" before the series ended and aside from Phil being whacked and a few chuckles over a cat - there was alot of shaft licking going on...

I watched the last scene like 10 times today... Still love it.

I think early on, the Bobby black out thing was "foreshadowing", the final scene "faded to black." it was as if we were in Tony's shoes. I think the guy from the restroom came out and popped Tony in the forehead or chest just as Meadow walked in the door. Thats about it.

I love the final visual reference to Tony's own father getting whacked in a restaurant with Janice entering the restaurant. This time it's Meadow entering the restaurant and guess what happens next? David Chase is A GENIUS!!!!!

So here is what I found out. The guy at the bar is also credited as Nikki Leotardo. The same actor played him in the first part of season 6 during a brief sit down concerning the future of Vito. That wasn't that long ago. Apparently, he is the nephew of Phil. Phil's brother Nikki Senior was killed in 1976 in a car accident. Absolutely Genius!!!! David Chase is truly rewarding the true fans who pay attention to detail.

So the point would have been that life continues and we may never know the end of the Sopranos. But if you pay attention to the history, you will find that all the answers lie in the characters in the restaurant. The trucker was the brother of the guy who was robbed by Christopher in Season 2. Remember the DVD players? The trucker had to identify the body. The boy scouts were in the train store and the brothas at the end were the ones who tried to kill Tony and only clipped him in the ear (was that season 2 or 3?).

Absolutely incredible!!!! There were three people in the restaurant who had reason to kill Tony and then it just ends. This was Chase's way of proving that he will not escape his past. It will not go on forever despite that he would like it to "don't stop". Not the fans!!! Tony would like it to keep going but just as we have to say goodbye, so does he

if Chase meant for us to think Tony got popped he would have made it so that before he looks up to see Meadow comming in we would have seen the limp dick with the members only jacket comming out of the bathroom from the side or given some kind of hint that, that was even a possibility. The point chase was making was for the rest of Tonys life he will not be at ease, always worried if the next person comming through the door was comming to whack him. Chase made us all feel nervous as hell with every last person who walked in the door. Just as Tone now will. Everytime the bell rang Tonys head popped up and it shows that he was just as nervous as we were.

CNN was just reporting about rumors of a movie.

the ending was genius if you've paid attention to the show or are just a fan of well developed well thought out plots that all tie together and have the memory of a champ to remember it all

the ending was simple, he got killed, but let me tell yall why and explain in detail... There were 3 people in the room total who had a reason to kill tony.....

the two black guys, they were paid before to kill tony but he was only shot in the ear

the guy who was sitting at the bar stool, who the camera kept focusing in on, is Nikki Leotardo, Phil Leotardo's nephew, he was in one of the early season episodes where Phil and Tony have a sit down....

heres where the genius comes in....

When Tony's walking in the diner, you see the camera focus on him, then it switches to his perspective, and you see him looking @ the booth hes gonna sit at...

then the camera switches back to tonys face, then it once again switches to his perspective, and it shows him looking @ the door and looking @ the people come in..... Everytime the door opens the Chimes sound....... Carmela walks in, Chimes, AJ walks in Chimes, this when Meadows parallel parking, still trying to
get inside the restaurant....

at this point the camera switches back to the trucker who goes in the bathroom......

Then it goes to a scene where meadow finally parks and starts running in the diner....

the doors about to open, Tony looks up....

and No Chimes......................

No Music............

Everything just goes black...............

In one of the early episodes of the sopranos, tonys talking with bobby about what it must feel like to die..

Bobby says "at the end, you probably dont hear anything, everything just goes black"


part of that was revisited in the second to last episode during the last seconds of it, when tonys about to go to sleep and he flashes back to the memory of him and bobby on the boat... "You probably dont hear anything everything just goes black"


so in the end, the Journey song was playing, the chimes on the door sounded but when meadow came in, the guy in the trucker hat came out and killed tony...

its the reason you don't hear, or see anything when he died.... it was from his perspective.... and everything went black, then the credits rolled.

Yes, his perspective being key here. Chase put the viewer in Tony's shoes, he made us feel what Tony feels every day, paranoia and fear. Focusing on his family made us all think one of them would get hit, it was gut wrenching. At that point we were seeing and feeling what ever Tony felt, and yes when it went black we saw and heard what Tony heard, nothing! He got hit.

You are 100% right. That is exactley what I thoughht as well. Giving us the feeling of uneasniess, or impending doom. The way Toney lives all the time.

This explanation is one of the most brainless I have seen yet. If you watch the scene again you will see that there is NOT ONE first person perspective shot. NOT ONE. There are shots of the door, but none from Tony's perspective. Not to mention that we don't hear a peep from Carm or AJ who are sitting facing Tony.

The Sopranos was a family drama first. All was set right when we last left them. AJ is still spoiled just like he was, Meadow knows what she wants, Carm is still cool with absolutely everything (however fucked) that is going on as long as she gets what she wants, and Tony is facing legal trouble. There is nothing more to tell. Just as we entered Tony's life in the middle of a transition, we have now left it in the middle of another transition.

We were given so many hints throughout the episode that Tony and his family's life would continue after the fade to black. That we weren't really witnessing the end and nothing has really changed. Tony bitching to AJ's psychiatrist is one example.

David Chase didn't give us a beginning, why the fuck does he need to give us an ending? The final scene gave us a glimpse into Tony's life where he always has to wonder when his time is going to come. He is with his family in public and vulnerable. Make no mistake about it that is an everyday thing. It's nothing new, it didn't just suddenly start after the war was over. He is a mob boss, paranoia is his job.

The cut to black was left for us to interpret. My guess? Life goes on.

Stop reaching with the stupid theories that have little to no evidence to support. Chase knew what everybody wanted or expected....that is the only reason we got that final scene.

Not to mention that one of the final songs pictured right next to "Don't Stop Believing" was "Any way you want it".....so there you have it Soprano fans and bandwagon jumpers.....Any way you want it. It's your ending.

David Chase said in an interview yesterday, the guy with the hat, was never in the show at all and it was the guy in the member's only jacket that went into the bathroom, NOT the trucker/ Chase said he didnt put any extra thought into the song choices or the final show, so from his interview, I would say he's a fuck wad and he can kiss my ass, that last show blew dicks.. He went on to say all these online assumptions are all FALSE! So basically WE got WACKED, we got shitted in the end, because NOTHING ws wrapped up FUCK HIM

Read the interview again dick face.....he didn't say any of that. The interviewee made his own assumptions at the end of the interview and completely discredits David Chase from those views.

But yes...the Tony getting whacked idea is bullshit, and those people have never been on the show.

To me the ending is still a cop out. It was an easy way to for him to end it without having to end it. He didn't want our last memory of Tony being of his brains blasted all over a wall and he didn't want our last memory being of him flipping and going into protective custody. If either of those happened a lot of people would be complaining too. The easy ending is just to end it and let everyone decide for themselves what happened.

To me it is lame, but I think that is what happened.

It was watched by a lot of people, but not that many. The ratings released to day say it had 11.5 million viewers (probably a few more than that when you figure some tv's had more than just 1-2 viewers watching) which is the most ever for a pay cable show, but still way show of the 60 million needed to make up 20% of the country or the 105 million that voted in the last election.

But one thing is for sure they got a lot of bang for their buck because news of it is all over the place and everyone is talking about it.
