    Just hooked up the 8 core Mac Pro

    DAMN is this thing ever fast.

    8 gigs of ram, maxed out video card. 8x3GHZ processors and a new 30" cinema display.

    I miss the days when I got all the new computers. The new video editor gets this thing and I am jealous

      What was that 10K right. We were looking at them for processing HD video. Let me know how final cut runs?

          I am running the quad core and it doesn't quite cut it. Still better and faster than my PC, but I want what you got!!!

                                      thats a nice machine. we just got four new 4 core windows machines for encoding. makes we want to trade in the rack of dual cores for newer machines the increase in speed in incredible, would love to see the 8 core run.
