                My wife does and it used to drive me fucking nuts. She calls it thinking out loud.

                She would be talking to herself while I was working so I would pause, thinking she's talking to me and ask her to repeat herself. "Just talking to myself" was her reply. Then I would tune her out and she would bitch at me because "I never listen to her".

                Now she knows that she needs to get my full attention before telling about dinner at her mother's house next week...or she ends up going alone.

                                                                                                        I do, but not too much. I have three levels at the office:

                                                                                                        Level 1 - small whats? fucks? and "That doesn't make any sense" and other small questions
                                                                                                        Level 2 - I voice questions when thinking about ideas or working on campaigns where my office neighbour asks if I'm talking to him or not.

                                                                                                        Severe Level 3 - Explosions of anger scaring the whole office as I discuss what levels of pain and destruction I'm going to commit to my work laptop if it doesn't unfreeze in 0.3 seconds.


                                                                                                        At home if I'm alone in states of boredom I do occassionally. If I'm working on my sites then Level 1&2 apply. It usually ends brings one of the for furbags coming to my side wondering if its time for treats.

                                                                                                        I used to talk a lot more in the office when I was in online gambling years ago handling the financials. There's something about accounting that its a given you'll be talking to yourself while figuring out why the accounts won't balance and who screwed up the entry, etc.
