I have used it multiple times, and love it. I screwed up once and paid my person in the wrong currency. It wasn't her fault of course, so I paid her again, then contacted xoom to see how to reverse the first transaction. Great customer service, and funds from first attempt returned to my bank account in a timely manner.

I agree, it sucks to receive money through xoom. It used to work fine for me until 2006, then every transaction gets cancelled. I hated it ever since.

I also use to pay the Filipinos, just make sure that you put their names EXACTLY as it appears on their ID, and you should have no problems.
