Hello everybody, I spoke with After Shock Media yesterday and we agreed that I will adjust the bid today. Please run the auction in proper way, in case of Juicy the auction value has been seriously dropped and this way you wont get higher bids I guess.
Its a great idea and nice way to get the needed money but it just needs a proper run.
The new bid price is 9k. There is enough time to get it higher than 16k, just do it in the right way.

I joined the auction because of the Juicy sig and thats why I bid so high.You ask for some serious money so please run it well.
If you change the list and specially with such serious value I have nothing left to do but change it as well. You cant sell tickets to Madonna and in the end send us to Genesis.

Actually, I think we've done a marvelous job of running it. I think that if only one person backs out, then we still "run it well". We didn't change the list. The donors give their sigs of their own free will, and if one wanted to back out that's certainly their choice: but don't let that reflect upon the overall aim of this endeavor, and how we're trying to keep it afloat.
Thank you for your generous bid of $9,000, and I surely hope that someone else will come along and see the real value of having nearly 80 sigs promote their company.Comment

I think calling people a pussy who have made a donation is not really in the best taste of anyone here. If it ended now ASM would still have 9k more then he did 5 mins ago which will help him have a better life.
AWE is being called a potential pussy by people here, I don't think that's going to sway them into making a higher bid. Everyone should be thankful no matter how much it makes.
I fully understand the reason and the goal here and I say more power to ASM in living his dream with his lady.
I just think it's really bad taste to start name calling and such.
Diesel made a business decision and lowered his bid, and he do so after he spoke to ASM, and ASM was cool with it. What he was getting for the price had changed and he had every right to change his offer.

Maybe allow people a couple more days to donate their sig and then get a set lists of people and then start an auction thread. You can't prevent people from backing out even then, but at least it would be a little less confusing and the people who offered would have had a little time to change their mind before the auction goes live.

In retrospect, that might have been a better idea but I don't think this would have developed to this point. The bidding and sig donation add to one another and create a great synergy all for a worthy cause. This auction started off great, and hit a slight bump in the road. That's all it is though.i agree with that.
