Shit, I want to compete too. Send me a script, I will bare all of the costs of the same shoot you are paying Paul to do. And i will even not seeking out type of reimbursement.In essence you get a free exclusive scene. Dont really give a shit about the money, just really want to show what i can do. I know what my skill level is and im willing to put my money where my mouth is. Would love to kill 3 birds with one stone. Compete with Paul, Compete with a Brazzers shooter of Nathan's choosing(Will be Bret Brando, im guessing) and tryout for Brazzers all in one shot.
I will even give you a complete uncompressed edit version with my raws.
Put me in coach.
3 scenes isn't going to change the fact that Brazzers along with many other site are full of low to medium quality porn that has little to keep the members retained any longer than the minimum.
Will my 1 scene be better than the one the guy who shot the golf ball one be, or the sofa scene afterwards or the lesbian scene? I wouldn't still be here selling content if that was the best I could do.
Does Bret Brand knock out a great scene every time he shoots, or will just be told to do a great one this time? Or will your one scene reflect on all your average work?
I see many sites full of the same mistakes. Images over and over again shot in portrait framing, even though today I think the vast majority of screens are wider the deeper. Wide screen videos with the girl or models standing up, so the screen is a nice scene of the location. Bad angles, too much genitalia, too much zooming and fake models.
Obviously shot by people without the skill or time to get it right. And in the case of the Mofos scene edited by someone who doesn't have enough knowledge to turn down the audio when heels hit the floor.
All these mistakes are elementary and I think if you gave these shooters more money it wouldn't make any difference.
And even if they are better shooters on a better budget, it still comes down to another girl on another bed type scene that isn't that different from every other scene on every other site.
What does this mean to affiliates and sponsors profits? Members have less reasons to stay longer and leave sooner. That's those that sign up. Because today it doesn't really matter if Manwin only have 5 minute clips on Tube sites. Every other scene is similar to the same as the last one. And if a Brazzers scene isn't available for free a similar one is.
Dave I've asked a few times, why don't you give me access to one of the sites you shoot for. Might be able to give you some pointers.
Well any contest judge on GFY votes, will have me finishing last.
I will do it just to piss off Damian.
In the final mix it doesn't matter what GFY thinks. It's what members think. Will a site full of great porn outsell and out retain a site full of medium quality porn?

Maybe next week. Fabian is arguing about the scene and the contract.
Once we get the wire I will look for the right girl, a lot of problems today are girls like in Brazzers and Mofos scenes clearly faking everything and putting very little into the scene. Eva and I did notice as we were shooting in 2007 and 2008 how many girls were just "floating" through a scene.
Ultimately no matter how good the equipment is, if the guy holding it doesn't know how to make a girl perform properly as he needs to he's going to produce poor porn.

I have found a great camera for this shoot....
This camera can be hired and shoots FULL HD up to 800 frames per second.
Put the girl naked on a trampolene, get her to jump up and down, film away.
Two minutes filming you have a 36 minute scene.
Thats something I'd pay to look at.!

You know what this tread needs? A fucking Waaaaaaahhhmmm-bulance. Sounds like a lot of whiners and people blurting out shit that makes no sense. The camera with interchangeable lenses, I'm assuming it's 1 CMOS sensor, which will have rolling shutter when you pan with sex.
Thoughts:
A. You shoot your content on industry standard or better equipment. Last thing ZZ wants to deal with is some huge file for editing or a format they are not familiar with. You will become a pain in their butt and ultimately not rehired.
B. Why would you want to chance their being a glitch in something rented?
C. Ultimately, Brazzers is kinda gonzo, with wall to wall intros & vignettes with hard sex. Mofos is a different story but kinda the same formula.
D. Over all it seems that the lines here are getting very blurred. Are we talking about Brazzers of Mofos? The 2 don't really seem the same niches or shooting styles at all besides being under the Manwin banner. Brazzers higher end, more story. Mofos kinda GF / Amateur but not really?

But you got one part wrong...the winners get contracts and their flicks can be seen by a handful of people on Manwin's paysites...and by MILLIONS of people on pirate sites for free.
It sure sucks that the company that has helped hurt the income of so many shooters now has them begging to give them even more content for free.
I don't blame the guys. They need to put food on the table and are praying to get hired by Manwin. It's just a sad thing to see.
At least Fabian is showing that he does indeed have some very real talent. The talent to silence his critics. He's doing it with DWB by buying him his own ads on ThePirateBay and he's doing it to content shooters by putting the companies who used to hire them out of business and then having a "contest" where they can now dance and sing for his entertainment.
I can see now how Fabian was able to talk the real owners of Manwin into putting him in his position. It is impressive.
Just glad I don't have to dance to his tune. He's meaningless to me. His bosses don't have enough money to afford me. I make too much all on my own.

Nope. I am shocked and sickened by it myself. But they have no choice. They didn't take action when piracy first started. Now they are fucked and their income is not what it needs to be.
So they are now ready to throw themselves at Fabian.
And just like happened a couple of years ago...they are reacting instead of being proactive.

Robbie, I agree with you 100%. The damage is done, however. You've figured out how to protect CM, but most others haven't. Manwin is going to steal IP until someone stops them. People like us giving them the finger on a forum only provides entertainment for nathan/fabian. He doesn't fucking care because he is making bank.
You can also call nathan/fabian many things, but stupid is not one of them. The guy couldn't beat TPB so he is trying to advertise there. I actually think it's stupid to advertise where people can get the same shit for free, but what do I know. The point is that IF some porn makers can make bank with manwin they would be foolish not to. Either sell it to them or have it stolen; or become bartenders.
I have quit selling altogether and am just shooting for my own site now. And to be honest, I probably would never work with manwin because I don't need to. But I am really interested in seeing people do their best work, maybe learn something about what a good porn product should look like. I am even interested to see what I can do if I tried to make a really good fuck flick.

The quality of the camera has little to do with the quality of the porn. If it's judged on the quality of the camera I might well lose. Will try to loan better kit, but who knows.
I've never known anyone jerk off to a porn scene because it was crystal sharp and clear. In fact many surfers prefer amateur shot content because it's real. That's the problem with so much porn today, the models are on auto pilot, do a bad fake scene and they all start to look like each other.
This isn't just Manwin sites, it's the vast majority of sites. If one site gets an idea it then repeats it over and over and over again 50 to 500 times and soon the viewer gets bored with seeing the same scene played out the same way over and over with the only thing changing is the girls face. Pussies all look very similar and if a film is to Gynecological it gets more boring even quicker.
In 1990 I was selling videos mail order ad the vast majority of them was a girl on a bad, sofa or in a kitchen. But there were only 5 of us doing it in the UK. And it didn't harm sales. Today with 10s of 1,000s of sites innovation is badly required. Yet very thin on the ground.Comment

This from a guy who ran an enormous TGP site charging to give away free porn. Now he's complaining someone has leap frogged him in giving away more than he could. Robbie I saw it coming. Everyone was leap frogging each other in how much they could give away, the only thing holding them back was BW prices.
As for Manwin being a law or treaty away from being a small company. Well that's more wishful than me wishing to be 40 again. They have enough content to go legit if they have to everyone else has to. Also this business has driven down the price of content to a level that they can invest a $50K and buy everything they will ever need.
