I guess you have never been in one, or they are price gouging where you live. < $4 for a venti mocha in LA, and every other state I have purchased one in all across the country.
Coffee Bean is a weak substitute whose doors are only entered when there are no Starbucks around.
I would like to say that I would never go to either just for a "cup of coffee" you can get that at McDonalds. But for a latte . . .
