who do you mean by "our"? Agriculture only accounts for a fraction of Japanese GDP, and I don't think they export much foodstuffs at all. From what I understand, it very unrealsitic to expect a chernobyl-style gas cloud wafting over to the US, so your fodd supply won't be in any danger. If anything, local land around the site may get contaminated, but that's about it, right?

"they" probably already contaminate "your" food supply with the amount of heavy metals in their electronics you buy and discard ;)
