I've been up up arround 2800 with an adult site lately. (not counting my old tgps from back in the days, I have no idea about that). Prolly arround 5000 right now.

One of our mainstream site is one of the top 500 most visited sites in canada thought Another one is in the top 1000 (canada), and we have a bunch of them in the 2500 range (canada).

1 broke the 10k mark this week...Have some gallery submitting domains in the 5k-10k range. In the end, that doesn't matter. Your sponsor commissions are what matter.

The guy with a 500k site, might be making triple or quadruple a site i the 5k's. You never know.

things to remember:

1. alexa rankings indicate relative popularity against other sites. it is possible to have a numerical ranking that goes lower (you get a higher number) and you would still have more traffic than you had before due to the influx of new websites and greater individuals having internet access throughout the world.

2. your ranking is country based.

3. bottom line: you should really only be concerned with how much actual traffic you are receiving
