The hilarious shit is that Apple probably could have put this exact model out when the first iPad came out, but they still managed to get all you idiots to bite when the first release came. Now you're all itching to ditch the old model and grab the newer shinier toy already. Odds are they've already got the ipad3 pretty much cooked up with a load of features they probably could have included in this release, and are just checking off days until they can wash, rinse, and repeat on their loyal following of lemmings...
As long as they insist on releasing a half assed product with pointless limitations on the use of what is otherwise an impressive piece of hardware, they aren't on my wishlist. Well, I'd take one for free, but I won't be buying one...
