Yeah, that's the major problem. It's hit and miss with too many sites. More sites than not are way behind with technology and aren't iPad compatible.
Unless a site offers their videos in MP4 or h.264 and are using HTML 5 to server them you can't see the vids on an iPad.
Of course there are software products like the Elevated X CMS (shameless plug) that do automatic server side video conversion and can bulk transcoder a site's videos into other formats so they can be watched or downloaded on an iPad.
Biz-wise we'll get the new one mainly for testing. Personally I probably won't get it since the current one I have has been sitting in a drawer untouched for the last six months.
