BRO News Update: Breaking news - AVN responds to selling PirateBay traffic.

Pirate bay signed up on their own without AVN knowing, made their page on avn's site and started using avn to sell traffic on their site and all of this just slipped through the cracks and got overlooked. yeah right. Looks to me like AVNads, or the portion of the site in the screen cap from above , is an Adbrite mirror-type site...

This in no way means that Adbrite is AVNads or vice versa, more like AVNads partnered with Adbrite to manage and sell their ad space... A "reseller relationship" if you will. A very typical setup in many industries.

Not taking a pro or con on either companies actions... just pointing out what little I know that might apply.

i've always know that Pud owned both AdBrite and AVN Ads - the AVN name is just a licensing deal for the name and connections to adult I think.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

AVN Ads and Adbrite are definetly the same company. If AVN doesn't own either of the two then that is another story. If AVN has nothing to do with adbrite / avn ads then they might want to get their name pulled from that deal. They might want to stop defending them as well.
