They STILL get that much traffic? I wonder how many of the people still using Myspace are just bots and bands spamming each other..

FaceBook does have a lot of traffic. But that's because everybody in the world has a profile and they are all narcissistically looking at themselves everyday.

A good MySpace profile can make you money. We have one and it makes sales all the time. But we have a legit band profile and it's all true viral. Even though FaceBook has more overall traffic...MySpace is still better for people who will actually VIEW a profile other than their own.

And by the way...MySpace still has an Alexa traffic ranking of 62
That is a LOT of traffic. Not as much as FaceBook. But as I said...it's still very valuable traffic IF you have something of interest to begin with. Not many do.

Good points. Reports do indicate that "linger" time on Facebook is high but this doesn't necessarily translate to $. The new change in the "like" functionality does offer a huge new window of opportunity though.
